Product Description

Introduction
Sand filtration is a process of water filtration treatment with natural quartz sand, usually manganese sand and anthracite as filter material [1-2]. The particle size of the quartz sand used is generally 0.5-1.2mm, and the unevenness coefficient is 2. The thickness of the filter layer and the filtration speed are determined by the quality of the raw water and effluent. Sand filtration can be divided into two types, gravity type and pressure type. It is commonly used in the advanced treatment of sewage and wastewater reuse after clarification (precipitation) treatment or after secondary treatment. The particle size of the sand particles is generally 0.5-1.2mm, and the unevenness factor is 2. Commonly used for clarification (precipitation) treatment of water supply treatment or sewage after secondary treatment of advanced treatment. According to the raw water and effluent water quality requirements can have different filter layer thickness and filter speed. The main function is to trap the macromolecular solid particles and colloids in the water and make the water clear. Manganese sand can remove iron ions in water.
Activated carbon filtration
Activated carbon is the process of water filtration treatment of filter material. The developed pores of activated carbon make it have a large specific surface area (surface area per gram of material is 500-1700m², and its specific gravity is 1.9-2.1. Therefore, it can adsorb fine substances in various liquids. Activated carbon filter bed is divided into fixed bed and mobile There are three types of bed and fluidized bed. The fixed carbon layer thickness is 1.5-2.0m, the filtration speed is 8-20m/h, the backwash water speed is 28-32m/h, and the backwash time is 4-10min. The activated carbon is cleaned with high temperature steam Regeneration or microwave heating regeneration, the recovery rate can reach 80%-94%. In the advanced treatment of water supply and wastewater. Activated carbon filtration is mainly used for decolorization, deodorization, dechlorination, and removal of organic matter, heavy metals, synthetic detergents, viruses, etc.

Water pretreatment system consists of multi media filter, activated carbon filter, water pump etc.
